This position will be split between the -UTMB Angleton Danbury Campus, located in Angleton, TX and -UTMB Clearlake Campus located in Webster, TX. Position will work -24 hours per week with excellent benefits. -Position offers $2,000 Sign-On Bonus + $2,000 retention -Accrue vacation, sick time and personal days!Health Benefits and Paid Time Off Available!Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!Money toward continuing education events!Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually! -The Registered Dietitian will report to the system Clinical Nutrition Manager. The ideal candidate will: - -

• Be a Registered Dietitian, Licensed Dietitian, experience preferred;
• perform nutrition-focused physical exams, provide nutrition support recommendations and nutrition education as needed;
• monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes on an ongoing basis;
• participate in departmental, clinical, and other meetings related to areas of practice;
• utilize electronic medical records (experience with Epic Electronic System preferred) within the practice environment and be familiar with the Nutrition Care Process;

Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
