Houston, TX.Compensation: $16.00 / hourShift: Overnights, schedules
varyAbout the job:
- Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
- Swiftly respond to alarms triggered by security systems,
ensuring a timely arrival at the designated location.
- Investigate the cause of alarms, assessing potential security
threats, and taking appropriate actions to address the
situation.
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter security
breaches, vandalism, or unauthorized activities.
- Act decisively during emergency situations, coordinating
responses with law enforcement and emergency services as
required.
- Maintain detailed logs of alarm responses, incidents, and
activities during shifts, ensuring accurate and comprehensive
records.
- Effectively communicate with clients, fellow security
personnel, and law enforcement to convey critical information and
facilitate a coordinated response.
- Prepare clear and detailed incident reports, documenting
relevant information, actions taken, and outcomes of each alarm
response.
- Operate and oversee the maintenance of security equipment,
including surveillance cameras, alarms, and communication
devices.
- Provide professional and courteous interaction with clients,
addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.
- Strictly adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal
regulations to maintain a high standard of security
operations.
- Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities,
collaborating with the security team to implement preventative
measures.
- Maintain a state of readiness for immediate response, staying
alert and vigilant during the entire shift.
- Represent the security organization with professionalism,
integrity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure
environment.Your background:
- You must have a valid Level 3 Security License with the
TXDPS
- You must have your own personal Level 3 equipment, including
firearm, duty belt, holster, etc.
- You have at least 1 year experience in Armed Security
- You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening
process
- Must have valid driver's license without restriction B
- You have reliable transportation
- Able to climb stairs, walk, and/or stand for long periods of
time
- Must be able to demonstrate stable work historyIf you want a
