We're growing our team here in Houston, TX.Compensation: $16.00 / hourShift: Overnights, schedules varyAbout the job:

  • Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
  • Swiftly respond to alarms triggered by security systems, ensuring a timely arrival at the designated location.
  • Investigate the cause of alarms, assessing potential security threats, and taking appropriate actions to address the situation.
  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter security breaches, vandalism, or unauthorized activities.
  • Act decisively during emergency situations, coordinating responses with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
  • Maintain detailed logs of alarm responses, incidents, and activities during shifts, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, fellow security personnel, and law enforcement to convey critical information and facilitate a coordinated response.
  • Prepare clear and detailed incident reports, documenting relevant information, actions taken, and outcomes of each alarm response.
  • Operate and oversee the maintenance of security equipment, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and communication devices.
  • Provide professional and courteous interaction with clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.
  • Strictly adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations to maintain a high standard of security operations.
  • Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities, collaborating with the security team to implement preventative measures.
  • Maintain a state of readiness for immediate response, staying alert and vigilant during the entire shift.
  • Represent the security organization with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.Your background:
    • You must have a valid Level 3 Security License with the TXDPS
    • You must have your own personal Level 3 equipment, including firearm, duty belt, holster, etc.
    • You have at least 1 year experience in Armed Security
    • You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
    • You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
    • Must have valid driver's license without restriction B
    • You have reliable transportation
    • Able to climb stairs, walk, and/or stand for long periods of time
