intermediate level position is responsible for the configuration
and support of software application systems within the Finance
Organization. As part of the Finance Technology team, this role
provides advanced technical, analytical, and consultative support
delivering Finance processes across multiple technologies (e.g.,
Oracle, Coupa, Kyriba, Blackline, OneStream, etc.). This employee
will need to challenge existing solutions and generally provides
technical input for both Digital and vendor support.This position
is based in Houston and the employee will be required to report to
the office part time and work from their home office the remainder
of the week (hybrid).II. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be
assigned.Reviews open cases/issues and troubleshoots or assigns to
other tech team members for resolution. Coordinates with vendor
regarding required support by opening tickets, escalating and
following up as required.Continuously develops advanced knowledge
of assigned application(s) utilizing vendor websites, user groups
and training to effectively utilize system capabilities. Mentors
other team members and is recognized as an expert.Consults on
requested configuration changes, partnering with the team to
determine best options for design decisions based on documented
requirements, current configuration, and downstream impacts.
Documents final specs and configures application.Support Financial
systems including custom integrations (e.g., real-time, middleware,
inbound and outbound) and develop or update existing BI/OTBI
Reports in Oracle Cloud ERPEnsures data integrity and governance by
supporting data imports and extracts and validating accuracy
through reporting and queries. Supports integrations/file
transfersWith guidance, analyzes new software application products
or new modules in existing applicationsProvides day to day support
and maintenance for system(s), preparation for releases, upgrades
and/or patches. Executes testing, reporting and analysis of
changes. Monitors open tickets/vendor escalations for
progressExecutes unit, integration and acceptance testing. Working
with the functional team, provides screen shots and system steps
for testing and change managementMay be responsible for configuring
and delivering basic reports and queries utilizing delivered
software. Follows established data governanceAnalyzes impact of
configuration from foundational structures to extensions to
downstream systems and integrations. Documents all
configurationCollaborate and work closely with the offshore
technical and middleware teams.Provides analysis and consultation
on the implementation of new software application products or new
modules in existing applications.Provides advanced technical
support for integrations, reports, extensions, and large data
imports/extractions. Plans for and supports migrations, releases,
upgrades and/or patches - mitigating risk/downstream impacts.
Engages Digital and vendor for support as necessary.Executes unit,
integration, and acceptance testing. May support functional team
with required screen shots and system steps for testing and change
management.Act as subject matter experts and as Finance functional
owners for the system. Keep up to date on application
functionality, training, and releases.Collaborate with HCM support
team to manage ERP Oracle Cloud releases.Assist (after initial Tier
0/1 attempt) in resolving User "How To" questions and help to
create relevant job aids/learning/communications.Identify business
requirements and map them to the system functionality.Support the
standardization of Finance policies, practices and processes
creating a shared vision across SMEs.III. Supervisory
ResponsibilitiesNo supervisory duties.IV. QualificationsThe
requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications
necessary to perform the job.A. Education and ExperienceEducation:
Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School
Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work
experience.Experience: Two (2) years of prior experience with
Oracle Cloud ERP required.The successful candidate will have a
minimum of two years of experience across several technologies
including - Oracle Cloud ERP, OneStream, Blackline, Concur, Coupa,
Kyriba, OneSource.B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other
RequirementsNone required.C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
RequiredHands on configuration of application(s), and supporting
releases, patches, upgrades and/or enhancements.Excellent written
and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and
analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable
and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present
